The way we handle things has an influence on its perceived value, and milk is not an exception. In the Netherlands milk is frequently added to coffee, but often taken for granted. 
WOLK consists of a set of tools and an accompanying performance developed to influence the perceived value of 'koffiemelk', making it (once again) an essential and valued part of the coffee making ritual. The preparation of food was used as an analogy for the design process. Each other’s cultural values and assumptions were explored through the act of cooking.
